Valmiki Tiger Reserve spans approximately 900 square kilometers, making it the 18th tiger reserve of India. It is located in the West Champaran district of Bihar, bordering Nepal and flanked by the picturesque Gandak River. The reserve is part of the Terai Arc Landscape, which is known for its rich biodiversity and forest ecosystems.
